Simple Grilled Secreto Ibérico

Posted by Gieselle Baerveldt on

The name ‘Secreto’ refers to the secret, small cut of meat found by only the top butchers. This winning combination of both the secret cut and the rare Ibérico meat makes for an unforgettable dining experience. With just a few ingredients and a quick sear the meat will be tender, juicy and leave you wanting more.

Porción: 4

•    450 g Fermin Secreto Ibérico
•    Coarse sea salt
•    Freshly ground pepper
•    Fuente Smoked Sweet Paprika
•    La Cultivada Restauraccion Extra Virgin Olive Oil
•    Lemon quarters, for serving

1.    Season the Fermin Ibérico Secreto with sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste, and dust with Fuente Smoked Sweet Paprika
2.    Place the Secreto on heated grill and sear for approximately 2 minutes on each side. Do not overcook – Secreto Iberico is best served rare to medium rare. Transfer the meat to a cutting board and let rest for 1 – 2 minutes. Slice thinly and transfer the meat and its juices to platter, lightly drizzle with La Cultivada Restauraccion Extra Virgin Olive Oil and serve with lemon quarters.
3.    Enjoy!
