SHIPPING CHARGES

Shipping charges are based on our provider's shipping rates and the cost of carefully packing your order.

 

ON-LINE ORDER PROCESSING

We pride ourselves on how quickly we process orders.

  • Orders received Tuesday through Friday, before 11:00am EST, will be processed the same day.
  • Order received after 11:00am EST, Tuesday through Thursday, will be shipped the next day.
  • Orders received after 11:00amEST may be processed the following business day.
  • Thermally Challenged (*See definition below) product orders received after 11:00am EST on Thursdays, will be held and shipped the following Tuesday, to protect the quality of your product.
  • Our Shipping Department is closed from Saturday through Monday. Orders received during a weekend are shipped out on Tuesday’s.

 

AVAILABLE SHIPPING METHODS

Pick-up At Store - Please feel free to visit us, in store, to browse and pick-up your order while adhering to Covid-19 health and safety practices. Or, call us once you've arrived in the parking lot and we will deliver your order to you curbside.

* Orders placed and not picked up after 15 days will be returned to stock, for the same amount of the cost of your order, unless you have contacted us for alternate arrangements.

Canada Post Expedited Parcel - Fast, cost-effective ground shipping within Canada. Delivers between 1-5 business days depending on your location within Canada. All items can be tracked and have on-time guarantees. 

Canada Post Priority - Fastest service for time-sensitive documents and parcels. Delivers to every residential and business address in Canada and guarantee next-business day delivery between major urban centres. For non major urban centres, expect 2-5 business days.

FedEx Ground - Typically delivers your package within 4-5 business days, depending on your location within Canada, along with your proximity to a FedEx depot. FedEx will estimate the number of business days to ship your order, but they are unable to guarantee the day. 

FedEx 2 Day - Delivers your package within 2 business days by 5pm. For example, an order shipped on Monday would be delivered by 5:00pm on Wednesday. 

FedEx Priority Overnight - Delivers your package next business day by 12:00pm noon in most areas. For example, an order shipped on Tuesday will be delivered by 12:00pm on Wednesday. 

 

NEED YOUR ORDER FAST?

Please feel free to upgrade your shipping service during checkout. Should you choose FedEx Priority Overnight service, and your order will arrive the next business day by 12 noon (in most areas).

 

WHAT IS 'THERMALLY CHALLENEGED'?

These products require special packaging care (thermal foil wrap, ice packs, etc.) to ensure freshness by maintaining optimal thermal temperatures. They require expedited shipping at the time of checkout.

To maintain the integrity of your products, orders with Thermally Challenged items placed on a Thursday (for FedEx 2 Day) or, a Friday (for FedEx Priority Overnight) will ship the following Tuesday, in order to avoid sitting in an unrefrigerated warehouse over the weekend.

HOLIDAYS & PEAK SEASON

We recommend that you use these rules of thumb when allowing extra time during the Holiday Season:

  • See AVAILABLE SHIPPING METHODS information for specifics
  • Order early (up to 5 business days) to ensure your order arrives before any holiday closure/event.
  • Weather can also delay your arrival of your product. Please understand that there can be unforeseen shipping delays with Canada Post and FedEx, due to weather and demand.

 

Although these situations are rare and they are not within control of Lola & Miguel; therefore, we cannot be held accountable for delays in shipping during this time of year*

 

 

 

HOLIDAYS

Lola & Miguel Online and the Lola & Miguel Toronto store are closed on all Canadian statutory holidays and the August Civic Holiday (please see chart below). Any orders placed on these days will be promptly processed the next business day.

If we are out of stock on an item you ordered we may substitute products of equal or better quality and price at no additional charge to you.
