Native cerdo Iberian pigs are known for their black colour and hoofs. The animals live freely in western Spain near Salamanca and feast on wild herbs, grasses and high-quality grains. This ham is unique due to its impressive marbling of fat which is high in mono-saturated fats - very good for your health. The ruby red colour intertwined with stripes of glistening fat present perfectly on a charcuterie board. Pre-sliced packages makes it easy for you to throw together a few tapas for guests. Cured for approximately two years in a mountain town called Guijuelo, this Jamón Ibérico still keeps its complex flavours and delicate texture even when sliced and packaged for convenience.
