The animals live freely in western Spain near Salamanca and feast on wild herbs, grasses and high-quality grains. This ham is unqiue due to its impressive marbling of fat which is high in mono-saturated fats - very good for your health. The ruby red colour intertwined with stripes of glistening fat present perfectly on a charcuterie board. Pre-sliced packages makes it easy for you to throw together a few tapas for guests or to nibble on a quick snack. Cured for approximately two years in a mountain town called La Alberca, this Jamón Ibérico still keeps its complex flavours and delicate texture even when sliced and packaged for convenience. Bring to room temperature before serving and enjoy.
