SHIPPING CHARGES

Shipping charges are based on our provider's shipping rates and the cost of carefully packing your order.

 

ORDER PROCESSING

We pride ourselves on how quickly we process orders. Any order received by 12:00pm EST Monday to Friday will be processed and shipped the same day for most products (contact us for details). All other orders will be processed the following business day. Orders containing ‘Thermally Challenged’ products placed after 12:00pm EST on Wednesday may be held to ship the following Monday, if your order cannot be guaranteed to arrive by Friday with your chosen delivery method. This protects the quality of your products!

 

AVAILABLE SHIPPING METHODS

The shipping industry counts shipping by business days and does not include Saturday or Sunday. Weekend delivery is available in some areas at an additional charge - please call Lola & Miguel directly if you would like to add this service to your order. 

Please note: To ensure that you receive your order without incident, we are unable to leave packages at the door without a signature.  Please provide a Shipping Addresss where it is possible for someone to receive the package such as a kind neighbour or a work address.

·         FedEx Ground Shipping

Ground Shipping will typically deliver your package within 4-5 business days depending on your location within Canada, along with your proximity to a FedEx depot. FedEx will estimate the number of business days to ship the order but they are unable to guarantee the day. 

 

·         FedEx 2 Day Shipping

This shipping service will deliver your package within 2 business days by 5pm. For example, an order shipped on Monday would be delivered by 5:00pm on Wednesday. 

 

·         FedEx Priority Overnight

This shipping service will deliver your package next business day by 12:00pm noon in most areas. For example, an order shipped on Monday will be delivered by 12:00pm on Tuesday. 

 

NEED YOUR ORDER FAST?

Please feel free to upgrade your shipping service during checkout. Choose FedEx Priority Overnight service and your order will arrive the next business day by 12 noon (in most areas).

 

WHAT IS 'THERMALLY CHALLENEGED'?

These products require special care packaging (thermal foil wrap, ice packs, etc) in order to ensure freshness by maintaining optimal thermal temperatures. We have indicated these products for you with the following symbol: http://lolaandmiguel.com/image/data/Blue%20Thermometer/Thermometer.jpg. All of these products will require expedited shipping at the time of checkout. In order to maintain the integrity of your products, orders with Thermally Challenged items placed on a Thursday (for FedEx 2 Day) or a Friday (for FedEx Priority Overnight) will ship the following Monday in order to avoid sitting in an unrefrigerated warehouse over the weekend.

 

ITEM SUBSTITUTION

If we are out of stock on an item you ordered we may substitute products of equal or better quality and price at no additional charge to you. 

 

HOLIDAYS/PEAK TIMES

Lola & Miguel Online is closed on all Canadian statutory holidays (please see chart below). Any orders placed on these days will be promptly processed the next business day. We will always inform you of any delays in order processing and shipment.

FedEx Ground: BC, AB, SK, East Coast - December 17th, 2018 and ON, QC - December 20th, 2018
FedEx 2 Day Express: December 19th, 2018
FedEx Priority Overnight: December 20th, 2018
*Please note that during the holiday season there may be unforseen delays shipping with FedEx due to weather and demand. These situations are rare and not within control of Lola & Miguel; therefore, we cannot be held accountable for delays in shipping during this time of year*

We have made it easy for you! You will receive a notification via FedEx every step of the way – from pick up to delivery. You can also login to My Account on Lola and Miguel to see the status of your order and look up the tracking number of your package!
